Phil's Bar & Grille When Phil Sauvé opened his eponymous restaurant in November of 2002 his goal was to serve high quality food and drinks at reasonable prices in a casual atmosphere. With great cooks, pretty waitresses, and bartenders who actually talk with you, Phil's won Lake Magazine's Reader poll award for "Best Bar and Grille" on the Lakeshore(of Indiana and Michigan) in 2005. Phil's formula for success is great food. This is a result of intensive in-house prep work. We bake our ciabatta buns for our hand-shaped hamburgers. We cut our own lamb and steaks. We make our soups, sauces, and salad dressings from scratch. You will agree the result is worth the effort. Phil's opens daily at 11:30 (Noon on Sundays) 363 days a year.
